Website and go-to-market analysis¶
At a glance¶
CoConstruct’s current public website is primarily a migration surface.
Buildertrend uses a broader, sales-led B2B SaaS funnel.
For a future product, the opportunity is clarity: who it is for, what is included, how migration works, what it costs and what clients and trades will see.

CoConstruct public website¶
The current CoConstruct domain is no longer a normal acquisition website for a standalone product. It behaves as a transition and migration site.
Its visible surface includes:
- Migration headline and migration resources.
- Buildertrend demo call-to-action.
- Legacy CoConstruct login.
- Support and Help Center links.
- Feature explanations retained from the old product.
- Customer migration stories.
- Buildertrend product-update and community links.
This produces an unusual public experience: legacy feature pages remain useful for understanding the original product, while the homepage tells visitors to move elsewhere. That is valuable competitive evidence because it exposes both the original positioning and the current sunset strategy.
The historical product pages are especially rich in workflow language:
- Construction software
- Estimating software
- Selections software
- Scheduling software
- Communication software
- Accounting integration
Buildertrend public funnel¶
Buildertrend’s current website uses a high-consideration B2B SaaS funnel:
- Positioning — all-in-one construction platform, profit, clarity, growth and reduced chaos.
- Segmentation — home builder, remodeler, trade contractor and commercial builder.
- Proof — customer stories, review ratings, usage claims and ROI statistics.
- Feature education — sales, project, communication, financials, integrations and services.
- Qualification — builder type and annual construction volume.
- Conversion — schedule a demo and receive a custom quote.
- Implementation — dedicated onboarding, data setup, accounting connection, training and ongoing success services.
The current pricing flow asks for annual revenue ranges from under $500,000 through $31 million or more. Buildertrend says pricing includes unlimited users and projects, but does not publish a standard price on the public page: Buildertrend pricing.
Content and SEO moat¶
Both brands have used content as a major acquisition and education channel. The public footprint includes:
- Feature-specific pages targeting construction software searches.
- Help articles that describe real workflows and data states.
- Buying guides and ebooks.
- Case studies and customer stories.
- Comparison pages against competitors.
- Product update pages.
- Training, university, consulting and community resources.
Buildertrend’s Help Center is unusually valuable for product research because it exposes implementation details such as cost-code mapping, budget transitions, client visibility, allowance behavior, change-order approvals, accounting synchronization and portal search.
Examples:
- Estimate overview
- Selections and allowances
- Change order overview
- Job Costing Budget overview
- Client Portal FAQs
Public trust surface¶
The public trust layer includes:
- Mobile apps for field users and clients.
- Customer portals with controlled access.
- Security and disaster-recovery FAQs.
- Terms that define customer data, registered-client data and service rights.
- Data-processing and privacy documentation.
- Live support, training and onboarding services.
Buildertrend’s current legal and security material describes customer data broadly, including job information, messages, files, tasks, daily logs, invoices, photos, videos, plans, drawings and specifications. Its security FAQ describes geographically separate data centers, backups and real-time replication. See terms and conditions and security FAQ.
For a replacement product, security, backup, export and ownership language should be designed early rather than added at the end.
Public customer signals¶
Public review signals are directional only; they are not a substitute for interviews or product observation.
- The Buildertrend Android app page reports a 4.4-star rating, more than 5,000 reviews and more than 500,000 downloads. It was updated in June 2026: Google Play listing.
- The Buildertrend iOS listing reports a 4.5-star rating from roughly 4,900 ratings: App Store listing.
- G2 reviews are broadly positive but include recurring directional concerns around cost, notifications, document behavior, mobile clarity and workflow complexity: Buildertrend G2 reviews.
- The legacy CoConstruct iOS listing has a lower rating and identifies Buildertrend Solutions as the developer, which is consistent with the product transition: CoConstruct App Store listing.
The useful product hypothesis is not that the incumbent is universally disliked. It is that a broad platform can leave room for a simpler product with a tighter workflow, clearer pricing and fewer unused surfaces.
Website implications for a future product¶
If this becomes a commercial product, the public website should make the following obvious:
- Who it is for: the exact builder type and job size.
- Which workflow it replaces: spreadsheets, email, disconnected tools or a legacy platform.
- What is included now versus later.
- How much it costs without a long qualification process.
- How data is imported and exported.
- What clients and trades see.
- How quickly a real job can be onboarded.
- What happens when the builder outgrows the first version.
